Penny Watson has degrees in biology, horticultural science, and plant taxonomy. Her job history includes dolphin trainer, biology teacher, turfgrass researcher, lacrosse coach, romance novelist, and frequent workshop presenter. Recent interests include simple living and how it relates to mental well-being. She is an adoptive parent and lives with her family on the Rhode Island coast.
