What happens when a family of four (plus one weenie dog) decides to move from the Boston suburbs to the Rhode Island coast?
They find paradise!
After a year of turmoil, high anxiety, grief and loss, our family packed 25 years of Boston life into a moving truck, and started fresh in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
Every morning when I wake up I am so grateful to live in this beautiful place.
Tiverton is charming, our property is a sanctuary of mature trees and wandering deer, winter sunsets are stunning, spring flowers are surreal, and the local beach and marsh--just a short drive away--is the most peaceful, lovely place.
Here are some favorite spots...

🌿 RI COASTAL TIP: Blithewold Gardens (Bristol, RI) are magical and offer the perfect walk in all seasons. It's also a good option for kids...not too long or difficult, and you're treated to a water view at the end.
